Quadsat wins World Teleport Association’s Teleport Technology of the Year Award

Quadsat has been announced as the winner of the World Teleport Association’s Teleport Technology of the Year Award. Selected for its drone-based technology, Quadsat’s solution allows teleports to quickly validate antennas in-situ, allowing optimized performance and obtaining uplink approval with satellite operators.

Earlier this week, Quadsat announced it has partnered with Eutelsat Group to define a new method for conducting Earth Station Verification Assistance (ESVA) tests.

Backed by Vaekstfonden, Seraphim Capital, and IQ capital, Quadsat has worked with many satellite stakeholders in recent years, including OneWeb, SES, Telespazio, the Danish Navy, and Oxford Space, amongst others.

The World Teleport Association is a leading partner in growth for teleport operators. The WTA advocates for commercial interests and promote excellence within teleport business practices, technology, and operations. It helps its members to understand essential trends and adopt better business and operational practices.

Joakim Espeland, Quadsat CEO, commented: ‘We are truly honored to receive this recognition from an organisation as prestigious as the World Teleport Association. The ground segment is changing at a rapid pace to reflect Newspace and providing in-situ tools to ensure accuracy and optimization will transform the quality of services being provided at each teleport. We are looking forward to what will be an exciting year ahead. I’d like to express thanks to the World Teleport Association for recognizing us at Quadsat as fitting recipients of their Teleport Technology of the Year award.’

Quadsat is exhibiting at SATELLITE 2024 at stand 1347 where it will be holding demonstrations of its UAV-based RF measurement solutions.
