Quadsat Demonstrates Airborne RF Detection and Geolocation at DALO Industry Days 2026 in Herning.

Successful participation at DALO.
Quadsat concluded a successful participation at Scandinavia’s largest defense industry event – DALO Industry Days 2026 – in Herning, Denmark which took place on 19-20 August.

We showcased our Radio Frequency (RF) detection and geolocation capabilities to representatives from the Danish and international defense community.

The two-day event generated significant activity at Quadsat’s outdoor booth U2226, where visitors met the Quadsat team, explored the capabilities of the SpectraLoc payload.

Quadsat develops its technology with a platform-agnostic approach, enabling SpectraLoc to be integrated across different unmanned aerial platforms depending on mission requirements, range, endurance and operational environment.

The booth featured drone OEM’s including the Skyeton Raybird, Wingcopter and Upteko LARK, providing visitors with an opportunity to explore how Quadsat’s RF technology can be deployed across different UAS platforms and operational concepts.

In cooperation with Rethink, the Quadsat booth also featured a Kratos unmanned aircraft display, further contributing to the booth as a meeting point for discussions around unmanned systems and Electronic Warfare.

From airborne detection to actionable intelligence.
A key highlight was Quadsat’s LIVE demonstration of SpectraLoc on Thursday the 20th of August.

During the LIVE demonstration, SpectraLoc successfully detected radar emissions from Karup Airport, demonstrating how RF activity can be detected from an UAV platform and transformed into actionable electromagnetic intelligence.

The demonstration provided visitors with a practical view of how airborne RF sensing, detection and geolocation can support defense operators with increased situational and spectrum awareness.

By deploying RF sensing capabilities on unmanned platforms, defense organizations can extend their detection reach while reducing dependency on large, centralized assets.

“The strong interest in our LIVE demonstration confirmed that defense organizations are increasingly looking for flexible and deployable solutions that can provide actionable intelligence from the electromagnetic spectrum,” said Niels Bjerregaard, CEO of Quadsat“.

An excellent opportunity

DALO Industry Days gave us an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our RF capabilities in a real environment and discuss directly with defense operators, industry partners and decision-makers how airborne RF detection and geolocation can support future defense operations.

We would like to thank everyone who visited booth U2226, attended the LIVE demonstration and contributed to two highly engaging days at DALO Industry Days 2026.
