Testing as a Service
Bringing convenience and accuracy to you
QuadSAT can perform diagnostics on your antenna or tracking device to attain measurements to thoroughly calibrate your antenna.
QuadSAT’s compact system is transported directly to the antenna and autonomously flies in a pre-planned pattern, resulting in a high quality, operationally flexible, and time-saving solution.
The data collected by the QuadSAT solution ensures the successful execution of installation, maintenance, and many other use-cases.
USE-CASE: On-site VSAT Antenna Test
Pre test
QuadSAT’s technician arrives to the antenna site. Mission characteristics such as antenna size and frequency are entered in QuadSAT’s custom pre-flight software prior to testing.
In test
Based on QuadSAT’s software, the drone measurement system lifts off and automatically performs the data acquisition flight pattern. The automation provided in QuadSAT’s solution ensures repeatable and accurate results with every flight.
Post test
QuadSAT’s software delivers a detailed report based on customer requirements. All test results are delivered in the same data format which allows for inter-range comparisons.
Creating more accessible test data
The number of antennas deployed globally is growing and so is radio frequency interference (RFI). Most RFI arises from poorly performing or badly installed antennas and can cause connection failures and lowered bandwidth. Currently, antennas are tested in conventional test ranges prior to network deployment in order to prevent these malfunctions. However, this procedure is expensive, time- consuming, and a logistical challenge. QuadSAT introduces a UAS based system to offer location- independent antenna testing. It is an innovative solution that allow for increased test measurements in the SATCOM and RADAR industries.
QuadSAT’s unique solution enables a range of on-site measurements such as antenna radiation patterns and antenna alignment. The payload mounted on the drone enables maximal location flexibility. As a mobile test-facility, it can operate anywhere in the world on antennas of all sizes.
